Pick-Axe BFE Clapboard

So, now that I have a couple of days of distance between the biggest week of the film and now, I am able to reflect a bit, and revel in the experience. To say that was surreal is a bit of an understatement. Seeing Tiffany Shepis and A. Michael Baldwin on my monitors that first night, bringing characters that I created to life was a bit of a “pinch me, I must be dreaming” moment. Working with Sal Governale – a man whose work on SiriusXM’s most popular show I’ve been a fan of for 7 years now – and letting him work his improv magic alongside Kelly Byrns was nothing short of amazing.

My entire cast, and my fantastic crew… words fail me at the sheer passion, drive, and determination that every one of them has shown so far. To think that this little film was supposed to be something I worked on solely on weekends, with no money whatsoever, with nothing but my close friends, only to see it get to where it is NOW, is breathtaking. I know we’re not some big studio flick with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, and $300 million for a budget, but dammit, THIS is really what “Living the Dream” is supposed to be all about. To find a group of like-minded individuals, coming together for the common purpose of making the best movie they possibly can.

And to top it off – a secret that MOST of you outside of our cast and crew don’t know – it was all being covered by my favorite magazine to be published later…. HUH? WHAT? You’re kidding me, right?

Surreal experience. Phenomenal. Truly an honor.

Thank you all, truly, from the bottom of my very soul.
